Analysis is the process of deciding what the information system needs to do. The requirement analysis is the part of the SDLC when people sit down and analyse the scope. After all of this is done, a scope document is created in which the scope of the project is decide upon. The planning area of the SDLC is the most important area because it is where you gather the information and the requirement analysis is done, usually done by the more experienced software engineers in the business. The scope of the project is in the planning area of the software development life cycle. The scope of the project is the part of the project planning that involves determining and writing down a list of specific project goals, tasks, costs and deadlines.
